Many machines do not show what is hidden inside. They usually consist out of difficult structures, with many technical features. Itā€™s interesting to find out how such a machine works.
This teaching subject gives a good insight on how devices work en which parts are important for its function. We learn by disassembling the devices. Then we can see the actual hidden working of it and so we can analyse the forces and materials that are used. Also we learn about the production of the parts.
In this report the analysis of a ā€˜kruimeldiefā€™ is worked out. The report consists out of a number of chapters, in which is explained what the functions are, the parts of the device, the forces and technical transmissions of forces, but also the wishes and obligations of stakeholders who are interested in the product.

We all know the problem; if youā€™re having breakfast in the morning, eating muesli or bread, youā€™re making a bit of mess by dropping crumbs. If you donā€™t clean this, youā€™re probably going to run into mouses soon. Nobody wants that. Thatā€™s why there has to come a solution to that problem. This report is a research on what is the best solution. Multiple chapters will give you the answer. The product that is used is called a ā€˜kruimeldiefā€™. This kruimeldief is disassembled and all the parts are analysed. The product has a bunch of people who are interested in it. They are called the stakeholders. They have demands on the how the final design has to look or has to function. That is important for the market position of the device. The mechanism and how the device works are analysed. Also the transmissions, forces, connections, materials and the producing methods are analysed. By considering all the wishes and requirements from all the involved groups, you can conclude what is the best design to solve the problem. You can read the conclusion at the end of the report!

Conclusion

ā€‹

We can conclude that the design of the kruimeldief is pretty good. There are not really things that need to change. Some things can be omitted in the design. Also if we look at the technical ability's of today, the kruimeldief may have an upgrade on how long the battery lasts en the power of the electric motor.
